Coming to Denmark
Need-to-know information before going to Denmark as a student at the Danish School of Media and Journalism.
Most students staying in Denmark for more than 3 months must apply for a residence permit. There are different procedures for EU and non-EU students.
When in Denmark you must apply for a CPR number. It is used in all aspects of life in Denmark, such as when in contact with the health authorities, libraries, banks, etc.
You will need a health insurance to cover you during the first 7 weeks after your arrival.
