Master’s degree in Journalism (Cand.Public)
In cooperation with the social science and humanities faculties at Aarhus University, the Danish School of Media and Journalism offers a 2 year Master’s degree in journalism (Cand.Public).
The Master’s Programme is taught in Danish and offers two lines with one for students with a BA in journalism, and one for students with other BAs
The Master’s programme is divided into 2 lines:
- Society, Culture and Media, is aimed at undergraduate journalists who want an advanced studies programme.
- Analytical Journalism is aimed at university undergraduates in the humanities and social sciences who want a degree with a journalistic perspective.
The Master’s programme is a response to the media industry's growing need for journalists with an academic foundation and expertise, as well as excellent communication skills.

Erasmus Mundus Master - Joint Masters degree in journalism
Danish School of Media and Journalism collaborates with Aarhus University and a variety of international universities to offer an Erasmus Mundus Master’s joint degree in journalism, media and globalization.
