MEDIA AND DESIGN

Danish School of Media and Journalism - campus Copenhagen:

 

  • Offers education in graphic design and interactive design, creative communication, TV and media directing, and media production and management.

  • Has about 360 full time students, 20 teachers and researchers, 100 part time instructors mainly from the industry, and 20 staff members in the administration.

Danish speaking students are offered a wide range of degrees and courses in different levels:

 

Professional Bachelor's Degree

 

 

 

Further education and training

The school offers a broad selection of further education:

 

  • Longer courses of open training, for example creativity, management or media.

  • Shorter courses (more than 30) in specific areas such as: marketing, typography, commercial campaigns, software and illustration.

 

 

 

Seminars and conferences

Seminars and conferences are also held regularly at the school. For example, every year, a two-day Magazine Design Conference is held where experimenting and interesting presenters from around the world come to talk about the newest trends and tendencies in magazine design.

 

Another recurring event is the Typo Conference about font design which is held at the school every year for students and external participants.
